David Bowie's "Space Oddity" as a children's book. The illustrations are wonderful.
That is indeed beautiful, but the story itself is probably the stuff of nightmares for children.

I do like the images - especially the takeoff spread. However, I never thought that his craft was damaged like it's portrayed here. I always thought it was some power shortage and he just drifted off in the quietness and stillness that is space.
