We have a Bissell QuickSteamer (1950-W, apparently not available any longer, the 1770 seems to be the newest version). I can't link to it on Bissell.com because the damn thing keeps sending me to the UK site (and I can't tell which one of those might be similar). GAH!

*ahem*

Mum gave it to us so I have no idea what it cost, but probably less than $100USD. It works great on our berber (wool) carpeting.

Do you use it to clean tile, or to blast the inside of the oven?

Haven't used it that way, but we could. The oven could really use it, heh.
