Our youngest is registered for his first semester of college, after getting our daughter graduated in May. So many years of tuition...

It's so weird that many kids start school in August. It was always September when I was growing up.

My bf is a teacher who started up again this week and he already says he has a star pupil so that is good.

School's always started in August for me. Once it was Aug 15, so finals were before Christmas.

It's going ok. Both boys' teachers are named Sanchez. Not even spelled differently.

The school day got extended by 30 minutes so you're late at 7:50, and you pick up at 3:20. Since they can't go to the aftercare at the school (looong story) I pick them up and shuttle them across town to aftercare. Hubby picks them up.

School is near my work; aftercare is near his. So far I hate that part.
