Imelda May - "Mayhem" , "Johnny's Got A Boom Boom", "Train Kept A Rolling". Don't be surprised that the irish can rock out some rockabilly. The rock came from the blues, but the billy largely came from transplanted irish folk music as they had already settled large sections of the Appalachians well before the Revolutionary War.

Also, they manage to work in a subtle r&b groove underneath everything else.

I first saw her on a British musical quiz show (Nevermind the Buzzcocks). She has a lot of stage presence even when sitting behind a desk making jokes, enough to make make me look into her music. Great stuff, she kicks ass.
