I recently asked the mister if I could have capybara. He said no rodents that can't fit into the rats old cage. Party pooper.

That's right up Highway 101 from me (out here, anything less than 40 miles is 'right up the road') and when I first saw the story, before the LATimes picked it up, I pondered: my lease does not allow me to have a dog or cat, but rodents are okay... hmmmmm....

Another reason I like capybaras was because The Tick had one as a pet (though he thought it was a dog)

I once saw a rat, in NY, that was as large as a small dog. Just saying.
