A neat thing coming up that some of you may want to see. On August 17th, the guys from RiffTrax/MST3K are doing a live* performance beaming to hundreds of movie theaters across the country (*tape delayed on the West Coast). I think I'm ordering my tickets tomorrow. Should be fun!

I saw the Plan 9 show they did. What was nice was the theater was packed with fans, and everyone was on board for what the Rifftrax guys were bringing. I'd totally be at the show this time around if it weren't for the fact that I'll be in a shiny metal tube miles above the ground that night.

Go see it if you're an MST3K or Rifftrax fan. It's great fun.

I went to one of those - the Christmas Shortstravaganza! There was hardly anyone in the theatre, maybe only 10 people. But I laughed so hard I almost fell out of my chair at a few points.

Heh. I have no idea if this particular night in Tulsa will be more like gc's and jam-packed or like Wolfdog's and sparse, but I reckon I don't much care, so long as the feed works and I can hear everything. I didn't know this was a periodic thing. Really looking forward to it.
