My husband and I finally took our honeymoon last March, 3 years late, and 12 years after we started being together. I want it to be the first week again of March 2011 hanging out on the resort's beach, chilling out to weird reggae cover songs of American oldies. Short of that, I want to be home, trying to learn how to use my new knitting loom while watching "Upstairs, Downstairs" while my husband video games it up.... actually, this is a sort of "can do anything" musing right? Well then I want to be chilling out at the cafe just across the Prague Astronomical Clock waiting for it to chime.
Deciding what I want to do. I'm on vacation, dangit, and I'm fluffing the day away trying to decide what I want to do. Silly, silly me. Beach? Hobby? I can't make up my mind! Lol
I'd rather be somewhere I could see the ocean -- stretched out on a comfy chaise on a nice deck attached to a lovely beach house and reading a great book with a never-ending glass of iced tea (with lemon, no sugar) next to me.
At home, finishing up my marathon of "Avatar: The Last Airbender." Say what you want about Netflix, but it is my savior right now while the boyfriend is on vacation, at a conference.
Almost anything. The auditors are coming today and there's nothing worse for an auditor than being audited. Kind of like how doctors make the worst patients ;-)
Right now I'm reading "The Name of the Wind," eating a taco, and drinking some sort of alcoholic lemonade. So, I'm good right now. I wish it wasn't conference-eve, but hey, I guess that means air-conditioning.
I just finished 'The Name of the Wind' the other day! Not quite up for book 2 yet.
What I would rather be doing is looking forward to weather that's about 20 degrees cooler than it really will be here.
I can't think of a single thing I'd rather be doing than what I have been actually doing!
Our road trip has been fantastic and right now, I'm checking in online while waiting on some food to be delivered to our BEAUTIFUL room. Tomorrow, we drive to Carmel, California for a couple days.
