Haven't tried these yet but I did like the "Strawberry Milkshake Oreos" that were around a little bit ago.

I think the vague "berry" flavor would be bad. I like most every type of berry but there is no good generic berry flavor.

Still if they were sitting out on the counter at work, I'd try one.

The Oreos website offers you the chance to vote for the next Oreo flavor. Root beer float, Creamsicle, Chocolate Cherry or Rainbow Sherbet. I vote for none of them. But you know what would be really good? Cotton Candy Oreo. Watch, they'll steal my idea.

I'd vote for Creamsicle on a chocolate Oreo, not vanilla, but we don't seem to get temporary flavour type stuff up here much.

Malted milk balls Oreos, like Whoppers that you can take apart.

I just discovered coconut M&Ms. My day is going swell.

Root beer and chocolate? No. I don't like chocolate and citrus nor cherries on their own.

No longer coughing up green and went to a movie. A demented woman kept screaming that I wasn't covering my cough even though I WAS putting my hand over my mouth each time.

Missed the meetup; it was raining when I got out of the subway at 9:30.

Am going to be stuck in NY all summer. *snarl*

Yes, there are things going on that I want to see but the weather is for shit and the ambience gets worse.

My day started out ridiculously badly, so I figured logically speaking it had to get better. I set my cap to that goal and, lo, it did. I was all "blah blah lemons, blah blah lemonade."

Oh, to answer the most pressing aspect of "how is your day going": homemade whoopie pies. That's how my day is going!

The horde of visiting nieces and nephews wanted whoopie pies, but there were none to be had at the corner store. So I made a batch, to my sister's surprise and the kids' delight.

Day went great! Work was quiet and I got a decent amount done. A print I ordered off Etsy arrived and I hung it with two others from the set in the kitchen. The meetup with mathowie, intern, & co. was short and sweet- little over an hour, then the rain came and swept us all away. Soon I will go to bed in the sweet, sweet AC. Life is good.

ColdChef sent me a couple packages of the coconut m&m's when they were out as a limited edition and I could not find them in Central Indiana. I FELL IN LOVE WITH THEM. Then they (SUPER SAD FACE) went away for a while. Then at Easter time I noticed they were available again IN THE BIG BAGS. HOLY CRAP. Then they disappeared again. Then last week when I was shopping for kleenex and treats for HP&DH2 I found them in the big bag at my grocery store. THEY ARE SUPER AWESOME.

And I had four more weird Oreos this morning (the package is still sitting there). They weren't as bad when I expected a weird berry ice cream flavor, and tasted like berry ice cream in a only slightly fake sort of way. If you're tired of standard Oreos, it might be a good thing, but for me it's originals and mint, or nothing (yet - I'd be interested in peanut butter Oreos, but then I might as well get another PB + chocolate sandwich cookie).
