It was a fantastic (short) ceremony and an even more fantastic (and much much longer) reception with super fantastic shoes.
The theme was
Tanabata, 7/7/11, so we were married on a bridge surrounded by immediate family in a state park. The reception hall was decorated with paper streamers and paper lanterns and we asked guests to write us paper wishes instead of signing a guest book.
Mostly I'm glad the planning and list-making is over and the family has returned to their respective homes. I should get the certified marriage certificate tomorrow and then need to focus on all of the additional paperwork THAT involves.
