Aww, quakers are the best. That first one is adorable, what kind of bird is it?

Here are some pictures of my bird, Alfie, who's been living with me about a month after 15 years of living with my parents. He's currently over on top of his cage laughing riotously and talking to himself.

He is deceptively cute when he wants to be. And then he bites you, because he knows he is descended from velociraptors.

He likes to put his beak on everything. EVERYTHING. (The beer bottle was empty, don't worry.

I call this pose "Snoopy Vulture."

(He just acted out a phone conversation: a ringing noise, "Hello? ... What's going on? ... Really? ... Oh... What? ... Oh... Oh... Okay, gotta go! Gotta go! What? Gotta go! Okay!" and then a loud click. And now he is saying "Hello" repeatedly in what sounds like the Pyro's voice from TF2, and telling himself not to bite.)

Oh man, that Snoopy vulture one is priceless. Alfie is gorgeous. You are a lucky parrot slave. ;-) I'm not sure about my first pic. Just a random one from Google that I loved. And that story is sublime. I love our parrot overlords.

I think the first one is a lovebird. And Oliver, a cat, does a pose on the short wall between the kitchen and dining area that I all his vulture pose.
