Welcome To The Neighborhood! →[More:]So, I'm working on a project. It's a video that will air at a VIP event. The event celebrates the opening of a new hospital. I was doing an interview with one of the doctors, in her neighborhood, and there were tons of kids around, and just for fun, I got them all together and had them say, "Welcome to the neighborhood" and I figured I'd put it at the end of the video.

Then I thought, why stop there? I could to to the community garden and have someone say, "Let's grow together". And I could .. um .. well .. give me a minute ..

Anyone have any ideas? I don't want to get too hokey, but anything that suggests welcoming a newcomer, making the new kid feel at home, any one-liners that could be delivered by folks in the community .. where the setting lends itself to what they're saying, know what I mean?
