Everything I have tried to listen to on youtube for the last 3 days has no sound. Other audio streaming works fine. Did something happen I don't know about?

This may sound obvious, but check if you accidentally turned the volume all the way down on the page.

What Stewriffic said. If you accidentally turned down the sound on one YouTube video, the volume will be down on all videos on the site for your computer. (This happened to me not long ago, in fact.)

I was just coming in to suggest that, too. No need to blush if that turns out to be the solution --- here's hoping it's something so easy to fix. (And so easy to overlook: I've done it, too!)

Glad you found the problem, but also some consolation: Sometimes our desktop does that with all flash videos. No sound until we restart the machine, but Winamp works fine for playing our music. I guess we don't watch enough videos online to really try and figure out what the problem is...
