No, I think it's something pumped through the air vents at Heathrow. I just hope the dysfunctional Airline industry gets you back "across the pond" (Doctor Who is totally changing the meaning of THAT cliche) before your passport expires.

And "a totally different person"? I hope you're not basing that on looking at your passport picture, because it's likely you didn't really look like that back then...

I've got a month or two left.

Well I was juuuust 17 in that photo and now I'm 26 and a food three inches taller, so , yeah different look.

Some of it was I went to a Fancy Restraunt for the first time on that trip and got drilled in equittete and Not Freaking Out. I went back there last night and it hit me, wow I am so not a bundle of horrible anxiety all the time anymore ...and somehow I've picked up excellent table manners.

See? Nostalgimental.

I love how something as simple as a travel document can bring back all sorts of memories, and make you realize just how far you've come as a person. When you get your next passport..just imagine how far you'll go!

I'm going to miss making custom agents go slightly bug eyed with my totally filled stamp pages however.

I keep meaning to get a passport and keep not doing it. One of these days I do plan on actually leaving the country.

I have this annoying thing where I have to keep reminding myself I'm NOT wasting my life and I HAVE actually DONE stuff, like write two books and run a live show for five years and travel around the world and stuff.

It's embarrassingly easy to start I've Wasted My Lifing at the hotel bar.

I just got back today through Heathrow. I'm so sorry to have missed you, Whelk, but we did cross each other's paths over the Atlantic some time this morning.

Whelk, you're like half my age. You've still got lots of life to waste.

Aww, dude! My dad's at Heathrow, too! Of course, he's flying back to Chicago.

And, as previously mentioned, he's recovering from dengue fever ;)
