Infographic Airplane Super cool! I have an assignment at work to find models for an infographic that has to track three variables. I am not having a ton of luck, but certainly having fun with infographics. Do you know of any cool examples out there?

I don't know if Information is Beautiful would have anything useful to you, but I do think it's... y'know... beautiful.

Oh, I came across that recently and then forgot about it! It must have been on MeFi or something. Great graphics.

I've decided what we need is a treemap, but am frustrated that I can't find a web app that will make me one...at least not one that's free, works, and is easy to use.

I think I have one. This is almost identical to a Far Side cartoon: the front door to a house has 'THE HOUSE' painted on it, the door 'THE DOOR', the cat has 'THE CAT', the dog 'THE DOG', a tree.... The author is standing nearby with a dripping brush: "NOW...! That should clear up a few things around here!" (Oh lord that photograph is funny!) I couldn't find a copy online; it's in "The Far Side Gallery 3", page 160.
