On the one hand it seems like cynical corporate "synergy" to me, but on the other, the Beaker-as-C3PO toy cracks me up.

I wondered about "corporate synergy", but Star Wars isn't owned by Disney (George Lucas conned Fox out of the property when they thought it wouldn't go anywhere - otherwise it'd be doing cross-promotions with American Idol and Bill O'Reilly). And I mentioned this in the "Firefrog" thread on the Blue.
