Painting Project I need some color ideas[More:]The women's bathroom at church needs to be painted just a little bit. The room has white vinyl-y walls and a painted grey floor. In between the vinyl-y pieces and on the bathroom doors, there's this trim that was painted a light orange peachy sort of color that is just awful. What color should it be painted that will go with the grey floors and otherwise mostly white falls?
really, extremely pale lilac

If it's trim, why not a deep solid blue? Used in small amounts, it could set off the grey and white.

I will be taking all suggestions with me to the paint store when I pick up paint chips! I just wasn't sure where to start!

Grey and white are neutrals, so any color of the rainbow will look good with them! Whatever you think is pretty. Personally, I'm a big fan of sage green in bathrooms.

That color men call green and women call something else.

Another vote for yellow. Yellow and gray look great together. I also like the pale lilac suggestion. Aqua or pink would look pretty, too.

I second this - the right blue would give a classy, understated appearance that won't offend anyone's sensibilities.

I like the idea of a purple-ish colour.

I like the idea of a deep plum color. I am all about color in rooms, though.

Tiffany blue (more of a teal/robin's egg) would look fresh and clean and not dirty. I think you should go for a color color instead of an off-white or light tinted color because those tend to look dingy faster.
Plus it is cheerful. Don't go too dark in a bathroom.

My thought was also light purple.
