Can't say I've ever read the series. Was too busy reading books I probably shouldn't have (Helter Skelter and Judith Krantz as a preteen for instance).

BUT! I have the "Rose Years" series of books and am rereading them for the first time.

I loved those books growing up----perfect size sixes, driving a red fiat, the fast twin and the good twin. My lower middle class brunette haired bus riding teenage self's dream. I must go check this out. Thanks for posting!

Deborah, have you read the Martha and Charlotte books? I hope Melissa Wiley will reconsider finishing those series---she quit when HarperCollins started dumbing down what she had written "for younger readers".

I have three of the Caroline books, but none of the others. I should get them.

We discovered that we were going to pass by not too far away from the Prairie site, so we made the side trip. It was so hot Mum stayed in the car and I didn't go to the gift shop. I LOVE gift shops, so that will tell you how hot it was. I did not see Bill Kurtis, dangit.
