These are great public art. I wish they were in a city park somewhere where they could be loved. I really like almost all of them.

I especially like the monument that looks like a pair of wings. Concrete dystopias yay.

I had a Romanian friend who introduced himself with a joke. He asked me what kind of watch I had. After I told him, he said with pride, "Mine's Russian. Fastest watch in the world." This has no relation to anything.

These are beautiful and incredibly striking. In a way, the neglected state makes the images even more powerful.

I like these a lot. When I visited my sister in the republic of Georgia, there was a lot of crumbling Soviet art around that looked like this.
My favorites were the giant masculine butch woman statues showing the hardiness of the people.
