I need Easter egg theme ideas! We're painting eggs at my dad's tomorrow night and haven't picked a theme for this year. Previous themes have included South Park characters and Stanley Kubrick movies. Your ideas, let me have them!

2006 - South Park
2007 - No theme, but includes a burger, the Death Star, and my sister's tribute to the 2007 Wyoming egg
2008 - Stanley Kubrick, sports, Janus, and some pictures of the madness we unleash when painting the eggs
Where is 2009??
2010 - No theme, but includes a Cubs egg I made for the BF, a Sox egg he made for me, and a Zelda mod podge egg

Maybe we did monsters in 2009 because I seem to remember a mummy. I know for sure that the BF made a Jewish egg once, complete with payot(s?) and Star of David necklace. Where are the photos?! Gar!

I'm pretty shit a painting actual people faces, so I think presidents and figures in history are kinda out. I like the idea of MLB teams and The Simpsons. L&O SVU is both excellent and scary at the same time.

What is an Easter hat?

I guess I should have said "Easter bonnets" not "Easter hats." Here's an example. I think you could just paint the eggs as faces wearing creative hats, though.

I have to admit I was sorta thinking about this story about William and Kate and hats for the wedding.

Doctor Who, with 11 reincarnations and the TARDIS, you have an even dozen. Add various companions (don't forget K-9 and the Brigadeer) and alien enemies (if you fall short, do multi-colored Daleks).

Want something easy? Peeps.

The Royal Wedding, definitely. The entire entourage. Metallic paint for the crowns, and they don't really have to look like real people because most of the Royal Family doesn't (rimshot!)
