Here I was thinking Depressed wombat was a MeFi username. Glad it wasn't, although I would been all over the cuddling thing.

But remember, both wombats and anteaters have serious claws for digging, so don't cuddle them unless you KNOW that's what they want. And wombats have a very hard bone in their butt - apparently they defend themselves by backing into predators and sitting on them, which is one other thing I like about them - so for best effect, hug 'em high.
