I'm feeling old and grouchy →[More:]
How is it possible that Chris Brown, that punk-azz thug, has a new album that's in the top 10 on iTunes? Yet the new disc from R.E.M., which is their best work in years, isn't in the top 200?

In better news, the sun is finally shining; I can go listen to R.E.M and yell at those darn kids to get off my lawn.

Yeah, I mean when I was a kids and lived in a rolled up newspaper at the bottom of a lake my pals were listening to rubbish that climbed all sorts of weird charts. It was often terrible.

I didn't know REM had a new album out! Yesterday I was watching a segment on CNN yesterday about Chris Brown. I now know Rhianna gave an interview to Rolling Stone about her restraining order and how he went ballistic on Good Morning America. There is something wrong with this story! I'm going to preview new REM on iTunes now.

I am certifiably grouchy. We put in new sod a month ago, so I am literally saying, get of my lawn!

The day I realized that DEVO's "Freedom of Choice" album had been out for *30* years, I literally had to sit down a moment and stop myself from freaking out.

On the other hand, I haven't really liked an REM album since New Adventures.
