NOt to be that guy, but has my yojurt gone bad? Greek full fat yogurt, opened once, sealed in container in cold fridge for ..oh almost two weeks. Looks like yogurt-smells like yogurt- oddly, no expiration date. How sick am I going to make myself?
If it's not furry, it's fine. I'm usually a "throw it out" person, but yogurt was invented to extend the life of milk..

In my experience yogurt can keep for weeks on end. It should be fine.

I'm lucky if greek yogurt lasts in the fridge for 2 hours let alone 2 weeks. What is wrong with you?!?

I WAS AWAY FOR LIKE 2 WEEKS.

And I caved in and said the fuck with it and ate it up and now this thread is moot.

it was tasty.

Yogurt is milk's shot at immortality. It should be fine.

The only time I would forgo old yogurt is if it has that pink bacterial plaque. Or if it is furry, like JoanArkham said.

-smells like yogurt

For me, this is the winning point. Old yogurt can get pretty whiffy. I do toss it out when it smells off, but otherwise I just nom it down.

I would have eaten it too, you did the right thing here citizen.

Honestly, when I've had old Greek yogurt and it's dehydrated and solidified a little, I actually kind of like it better. It's like extra tangy cream cheese.

OMG!!! DON'T EAT THE MOOT!!!

I think I know the yogurt of which you speak, and they print the expiration date on the tinfoil which gets thrown away when you open it. I have thrown out a lot of half-eaten containers of that yogurt because I couldn't remember when it was opened, but now I'm just going to eat them.

From now, it's gonna be smell. It smelled like yogurt so it was yogurt.

And our fridge is like sub zero so ..there.

It was tasty. I added almonds and dried blueberries.

This made me dig out the leftover yoghurt and finish it off. Thanks!

I was taught that the date on perishables was the day the store can't sell them anymore, but it's still ok to eat for another week.
