I should visit this piece of architecture in my neighbourhood It's only 18 km from where I live and I never have seen it. Do you have any amazing things in your neighbourhood that you haven't seen?
Lots of things I haven't seen. The Hoover building is not far from me. I've never been in the Tower of London, or Westminster Abbey. I'd never been in St Paul's Cathedral till a couple of months ago.

Museums, probably. I live right by the museum mile in New York City. I still have a few off that list to visit.

I don't know if this counts as amazing, but it sounds pretty crazy and I've always wanted to go see it.

jouke, boringpostcards is going to love those pictures. JanetLand oh wow oh wow oh wow you have to go! I'm so jealous!

I'm pretty caught up with my local sights, although it occurs to me that I live in a State Capital and have never been in the Capital building, which is gorgeous from the outside.

Hey Bopo, that's great. Me too. Do you ride a bike? We can ride around there, have a look and have a beer somewhere else and ride home.

That Reich museum definitely sounds strange. From what I can tell from the tiny picture it seems a wonderful house.

The Hoover building reminds me of pictures of Art Deco buildings in Miami. Definitely an entrancing style.

I'd like to see Orgonon!

Not a building, but a different kind of very big thing: I've never seen a whale. They're reasonably accessible around here, if you sign up for a boat tour. One of these days I'll do it.

Abbotsford is pretty boring, it's the 'burbs. There is a lot of pretty countryside and farmland and I've seen lots of that.

I've been to the Wilhelm Reich house. He was a nutter, but the house was wonderful.

When I was in LA, CA,I made a point of visiting Watt's Towers. It was closed for up-close visiting, but still very cool.

I still dream of Orgonon. I wake up crying.

(sorry. obligatory)

Heh, mykescipark, I didn't realise that that song is about Reich and his crackpot universal orgasmic energy theory and the cloudbusting apparatus he built based on that theory.
So to me that's not an obligatory link at all.

This would be an awesome way to spend a day or three. :)
