The best thing about George Takei's twitter feed is that it's nigh on impossible not to hear the voice of George Takei in your head as you're reading them.

It's a bit like trying to look at the phrase "Good news, everyone!" and not hear the voice of Professor Farnsworth.

I was at Jon & Pips' house last week watching the news on TV, all about Japan, and who should pop up as one of the news experts but Mr Sulu himself. It was surreal.

(I'm not just saying that because last Christmas I bought J. an autographed picture of a shirtless Sulu hurdling the bridge, signed "En garde!")
