My song of the morning: My car won't start!
I'm trapped at home! (Again!)
Stupid battery!
Luckily the only place I had planned to go this morning was to the car dealership to get the battery replaced, because it died on me on Thursday and then again on Saturday. We were charging it up all weekend, figuring I could get it to start at least once and drive the couple miles to the dealership, but NO!
So I am sitting by my phone like a lovestruck teenager, waiting for the tow truck driver to call me.
Went through this over and over again with my Subaru, otherwise a fantastic car. I finally decided, after new battery, car checkup, and another new battery, that even the best new battery can't stand up to invisible battery drain (presumably from the security system) and finally sprang for a trickle charger which I found on Amazon. It works wonderfully. When the car is in the garage for any length of time, we attach the charger and leave it on until its little light shows green. End of battery issues.
