Eat. Everything.

Erm....

Go hear some live music. Have a Sazerac at Jean Lafitte's or the Napoleon House. Eat a meal at the Praline Connection. Go to Rock N Bowl at Mid City Lanes. Work off a hangover with coffee and beignets at Cafe du Monde and then browse the French Market. Dig around antique and salvage shops on Magazine STreet. Take a cemetery tour, they're actually kind of cool. Browse the 110 AskMe posts tagged "New Orleans" for past recommendations and pro tips.

If you have a get, get a hurricane from a drive through. I'm not making this up.

Go to Yo Mama's for a most fabulous burger and an outstanding tequila selection.

I approve of the phrase 'eat up'. For maximum old English/Dutch compliance it should have been "eat some oysters up". Which in Dutch is not bad form (end a sentence with a preposition) but actually the only grammatical possibility. So Whelk, eet nog wat meer oesters op!

You could join my bf and his class for reconstruction volunteering in the lower 9th! memail me if you want to do it.
Or you could just eat beignets.
