Looking through my pictures recently I've noticed that I take a lot of pictures of vinyl.

fancyoats: Did you do all of those by hand? I hope your guests know what a treasure they're getting.

A collection of bottle caps, with a story. There used to be a general store on this spot with a front porch with chairs on it. People would buy a Coke, use the opener on the porch and drop the bottle cap through the porch floor. Then TVA came along and dammed the river, flooding the general store. The rising water washed away the building, but the bottle caps survived. Two years ago TVA partially drained Tellico Lake to repair some erosion damage upriver at Chilhowee Dam. I took this on the riverbed while the water was down.

Thanks, TrishaLynn! Yes, they were all hand-drawn/lettered (by me) and then watercolored by me with lots of help from a few friends with steady hands. In the pic you see the RSVP postcard on top of each invitation. Not everyone returned the RSVP card, but I kept all the ones that did get returned, for sure!

workerant, that last photo is one of the coolest things I've ever seen.

Man, this is my favorite Photo Friday in a while. Thanks, everybody!

Here are some books-on-tape, at the State Library for the Blind.

Long day || I have never wanted to live in Australia more than I do right now.
