Metafilter magazine accepting submissions After some discussion and back and forth,
Mefites are talking about putting together a magazine and we're accepting original submissions, both in text and art. This is intended by a small 4-8 page tabloid size pub at the moment. If it takes off, we'll grow, but for now, 4-8 pages.

Guidelines:
For the initial issue, pieces already published are preferred, even if that publication was long-form essay on a personal blog. But you'd be ceding second rights (something that's only a problem if you've published somewhere with exclusive first rights windows, generally). Writers are responsible for their own rights clearance.
Please submit articles in editable form, with .doc, .txt, or googledoc being easiest to work with. Images should be at least 300dpi (if we ever want to print) and no larger than 8"x10".
Some editing may occur for consistent style, depending on how lazy klangklangston is. Articles that need significant work to make conform (all lowercase, etc.) may be rejected.
Articles and images should be submitted to metamagfilter@gmail.com until midnight, PST, Monday, March 14, or one week from now.
If you'd like to volunteer in an editorial or proof reading capacity, please email the above address.
If you'd like to help out with design, production or layout, email nomadicink@gmail.com
