Swarming sparrows [More:]This is in my home town Utrecht btw.
That was fascinating. It's so absorbing watching the forms change that I almost forgot I was watching birds.

Mesmerizing. When the concentrations of birds change at different points in the form, it seems to ripple.

That's a weird combination of fascinating and creepy. I wouldn't want to be directly underneath the flock.

It's even better when you see them in real life. At moments when they turn their flapping wings will suddenly block or reflect the light with a frequency.

btw I found out through fancycoats link that 'spreeuw' doesn't translate as 'sparrow' as one would think. Sorry about that. These are starlings.
