Lounging attire→[More:]Flannel pajama bottoms, oversized t-shirt borrowed from my wife, white cotton socks, and L.L. Bean burgundy fleece bathrobe.
I'm not in mine, but mine is beat-up shearling slippers, flannel PJ bottoms, a t-shirt, a stripey fleece or yoga jacket, and a hairband (I love the feel of pulling my hair off my face but it looks kind of crazy, so I only do it at home).
Grey South Lodge sweatpants that I've had for probably 20 years, a T-shirt from the 2005 Toronto convention, a red chenille zip-up top from Costco and my Vibram Five Fingers, in blue, giving my feet a smurfy appearance.
Today was a working from home day, so this is what I pulled on when I got out of bed. I love working form home on those cold, cold days when I don't need to go anywhere.
I lounge in PJs, which is what I wear whenever I am at home.
Currently: grey pants that used to be workout pants, holey Nanowrimo t-shirt, long sleeve holey blouse, Otep hoodie, grey socks that have little birds on a wire.
t-shirt and yoga pants when there is a tiny possibility that I might have to run out and pick up milk or something. Otherwise t-shirt and my penguin jammies.
Black and brown plaid flannel pjs, oversized blue hoodie, hat, socks. If I am going to the gym I swap pj pants for fleece pants. If I am going somewhere more fancy I may put on a real shirt. I fear I am "that lady" to the package delivery people, the one who always opens the door in pjs no matter what time of day.
Oh! Oh! This is the perfect place to share that the Mr. was stuck at the car repair place for a good two hours last week in his snowflake pants. It was pretty awesome.
My loungewear is basic enough, light blue plaid pajama pants and a tank top but the real awesomeness happens when I take the dog out in this outfit in wintertime and add knee high pink galoshes and a parka to the look. I look like a pastel scottish fisherman.
My soft cotton PJs from Costco . . . stretchy patterned bottoms, matching solid colored long sleeved tops. And my beat up old button up black sweater, which is missing a button. And my suede moccasin slippers with the shearling sheepskin lining and rubber bottoms (so I need not take them off to go fetch the paper.)
Also, this needs to be a photo Friday subject, starting with IRFH.
I guess I just take off anything that is annoying me and leave the rest on. So now I am just wearing a tank top and blankets.
When I go to bed, I wear a slip. If I wake up and am lazy, I just wear that for the rest of the day.
If I have to go to the store but still don't really want to get dressed, I put a jacket on top and blue jersey pants on the bottom and cowboy boots. No socks, because for me, then you might as well really be getting dressed.
