Mirroring reality I’ve been looking for the perfect compact mirror for awhile now. What I’d really like is a compact with two mirrors, and it’d be a bonus if one mirror is magnifying. I keep finding some beautiful vintage ones on Etsy, but they usually have a drawback – that one side contains crusty, decades-old makeup. Ick. So what I’m wondering is, if I were to buy a vintage compact, would it be possible to put a mirror in the second side? Perhaps a framer could do it?
Not an answer to your question, but this one is nice. I don't know about it's availability in Canada, though.

I've been looking for something elegant with interesting detail. I love this vintage one with a gold ribbon effect, for instance, and this vintage gold floral one is also nice. This one with a Mucha image on it is nice, though it's modern and already has two mirrors in it.

It looks like the search keyword you want is "double mirror compact." Lots of, IMO, pretty things using "vintage double mirror compact" on google, ebay, etsy.

If you do find one you want to put a mirror into, perhaps someone who works with stained glass might be able to do it.

What you are looking for definitely exists; my mom has a two-mirror gold vintage compact like in your photos.
