I actually joined Flickr just so I could share my pics of the Discovery launch in 2005, which was the first one since the Columbia disaster a couple of years earlier.

That was so cool . I love the part where the steward offers free drinks and says to not complain about being late . It reminds me of a time when i was a catching a ferry to Vancouver Island that was really late and when we got up on deck we sailed by a firework display. Its all in the timing I guess lol
