Eeeeee!! I love owls, and have only ever seen one in the wild once, in Ohio. I hear them all the time in the forest where I live, in the middle of the night.

Oh, I happen to think barn owls are the prettiest ones. I have never seen an owl in the wild, sadly. Some day!

Also a serious owl fan here. Did you know some adult owls can weigh as little as few ounces? Have gotten to have an owl perch on me a couple of times in my life (not in the wild, at zoo/aquarium settings) and that was a revelation.
