"You might as well give a mime a cellphone." I haven't been a fan of "Get Fuzzy" for a long time, but today's comic (in a newspaper I got for the coupons) tickled me the way that Satchel casually explained why that cliché no longer applies in the age of smartphones...

I loved Get Fuzzy early on but it sort of ran out of gas quickly. This was funny though.

What strikes me is funny is how a phrase I've never even heard has become an unworkable cliche in less than 20 years.
