Holy shit my tweet showed up on the front (web)page of the New York Times. [More:] My pissed-off tweet during the SOTU address somehow got 15 seconds of fame.
Awesome! From now on, I shall always think of you as ExcitingTweets.

Argh! I can't SEE it! (This is like when people link to tweets on the blue in MeFi land and when I click it Twitter says the tweet can't be displayed.) What WAS the tweet?

Not that anybody asked, but I think the country needs another WPA. Our infrastructure is a wreck, and we have all these unemployed. #sotu

Cool, and dammit...that's what I've been saying for ages. It was good enough for The Greatest Generation, right?

Oh, I should have said I agree! My maternal grandfather worked on a couple WPA projects way back when. I should as my mum for specifics.

As much as I don't like much of anything being mandatory, I think a mandatory two years in a service position of some sort wouldn't be a bad idea for people in their teens.
