The Incomplete Manifesto for Growth. I just heard this guy on CBC Radio. Lots of fun things to think about on this list. →[More:]Numbers 38 and 39 hit me the hardest -- #38 because I already believe this, and we all like it when somebody confirms our beliefs, and #39 because it's something that never occurred to me before.

Love this! Like you, JanetLand, I agree with a lot of it because I'm leaning in that direction already, but it's nicely expressed. I especially love how he puts this:

14. Don’t be cool.
Cool is conservative fear dressed in black. Free yourself from limits of this sort.

Thanks for posting this, JanetLand! I'm really enjoying it, and finding some inspiration from the ways it pokes me uncomfortably and makes me examine my own stumbling blocks.

Note to self: don't wait to get it perfect. GET IT, then make it better.
