This is just horrible. There are so many conflicting reports right now that it's hard to know exactly what's going on. I'm really hoping the Congresswoman and all the other innocent victims pull through.

Shocking and terrible, I hope for the best for Gabrielle Giffords and the other victims.

I fear the rift in America is unreconcilable now, events like this just underscores how vast this divide is and I despair for it to ever be healed. I think things are just going to slowly get worse and worse. There won't be any big dramatic change that would wake people up, just increasing violence, xenophobia and decline.
