Right on. Loving music is about discovering music, not about having discovered it all already. Sure, the classic example is the guy who knows all the right bands turning acolytes on to new things, but really, it's about us all turning each other on to new stuff all the time. Shit, that's even how the industry functions, especially now that the labels are no longer the gatekeepers.

I will totally cop to wishing I always knew about ALL the cool stuff, but I'm not sure I'd go so far as lying about it. Goodness knows I checked out a ton of Nick's stuff after that commercial started airing!
