A very belated offering in the December Musical Giftstravaganza: White Wine In The Sun by Tim Minchin, a funny (but ultimately sweet) holiday song for the non-religious. Video.→[More:] This should have been the song last Monday, Dec. 27, but I forgot it that day, and then a family emergency kept me from posting it until now. But, hey, you'll have it for next year!

Dammit, BP, I had done such a good job avoiding all things Christmas this year (primarily because of a lack of family with which to celebrate, it was no longer worth the trouble AT ALL) then you and Minchin (one of my favorite musical humorists) hit me right between the (tearing up) eyes with this. The "in the Sun" part even made me wistful for his homeland of Australia which I have never visited (dare I say 'yet'?).
