As I hear all the buzz about "decade retrospectives" (and whether the decade ended with 2009 or 2010) I remembered something I wrote 6-and-a-half freaking years ago: SELF-LINK.

I was especially proud of this bit of metacommentary and the editors liked it enough that they got a resident artist to make a wonderfully goofy illustration for it.

But if you agree with me and base the true turn of a decade on big events, the "2010s" probably haven't started yet... (Maybe instead of the "Teens" we could call the current period the "Tweens"... I'm apologize for that.)
