I made this comment on Cracked when the article was published over there, but something I really wish SOMEbody would address is the whole "Allah is the Muslim god" thing I've heard so many people say. I once even corrected a teacher in elementary school (the only time Islam came up in all my public school years).
What, do people think that Spanish-speakers worship a different God because they use the word Dios? French Dieu? Latin Deus? Gott, Gud, Dio, Jehovah? Then why does it make such a huge divide for Muslims to use the word Allah, which means--oddly enough--"God"?
This came up in a post-show talk, the sheer stupidity of some Cracked.com lists, I pointed out that some of them are quite good and they do their job- which is to be shocking ledes and link bait that people can read in 10 seconds in tab between, cause they produce so much, lots is gonna be crap, but if you're willing to shift or find particular authors you like, it's okay light entertainment with the occasional gem.
It's such a huge hose I can't really hate on it, SEO bullshit aside.
