Jay Rosen on Wikileaks The watchdog press died during the war on terror and this is what we got to replace it.
Is there a transcript somewhere? Seems interesting.

Well, he writes about it on his blog.

Oh, excellent; thanks, warbaby.

I've been asked to write on wikileaks and a friend sent me the link to Rosen this morning. Other comments I've seen that didn't get enough notice had to do with the Zapatista FloodNet DDOS actions. Another thought is the misuse of the cyberwar concept when what is going on is actually netwar.

Anybody have any insights to what's happening? Most of the discussion has been echo-chamber rather than useful. I'm interested in taking a media criticism approach, since this was very much like how they got the WTO story wrong (that's a self link.)

What I want to know, is did Dewars pay Jay for the mention?
