Snowmageddon in Bydgoszcz! (Google Translation of a liveblog from the local paper). No university classes, complete traffic paralysis, no parking enforcement, public transport free today...but I'm still going to work! :) It takes a lot of snow to keep a big city in Poland home from school.

I'm working from home today and tomorrow. There is snow here, not as much as in other parts of the country, but enough to make the hilly walk to and from the station carrying a backpack not worth the risk. I'm lucky that the type of work I do lends itself well to home working.

So, I'm logged into the office system, in my lovely warm living room with two snoring cats and Judge Judy on the TV. The back yard is full of magpies, squirrels and a robin, who is bossing all the other critters about, eating the food I put out for them.
