Source Code The trailer for the new flick from Duncan Jones, who wrote and directed one of my most favorite recent flicks, Moon. This looks amazing.
After an initial "Oh no, not a Matrix variation", I started getting comparisons to one of my favorite cheesy sci-fi shows of the past, "7 Days". But in the era of Short Attention Spans, 7 days becomes 8 minutes, naturally.

And, yes, pieces of "Quantum Leap".

Oh boy.

I seem to be one of the few who wasn't all that wowed by Moon and this seems pretty derivative of stuff I've seen already.

Oooooh! Saw the trailer without knowing this is a Duncan Jones film. We just watched Moon again last night with some friends. I am becoming a huge fan of Zowie Bow-, er, Duncan Jones.

I was excited to see this trailer because I love Moon - but it does seem a little Matrix-y. And I'm wondering if there's an explanation in the movie for why they didn't explain things to him BEFORE the first time they stuck him on the train.

Curse you again, Teal and Orange! But yes, this does look exciting. I also quite liked Moon, even though everyone thinks Sam Rockwell did the heavy lifting. Obviously Matt Berry makes that picture work.

Sorry, but I have to wish that this movie flops into oblivion.

Otherwise I'm going to have to spend the following five years explaining, "No, that's not what we mean by source code..."
