OMG Emcee! A year in the making! Dead computers and exhausted bodies littering the journey! It's here at last (um, at least two-thirds of it.*)

These were really great, but I'm pretty sad that the third emcee of this set is kaput. Even though I understand how situations change and good intentions don't always produce good results, it's discouraging to find out that something I was so excited for was a waste of energy.

My choice is to either go back to avoiding group projects altogether, or wedge myself into every single one of them so that I won't care when my some of my work inevitably falls through the cracks. Unfortunately, the former makes a lot more sense.
