I am happy for them. And I think it's a very sweet sentiment, wanting to include his mother by giving Kate her engagement ring, and I'm trying to ignore my superstitious side which screams, "Don't give a girl the ring of someone whose marriage ended in divorce!"
I think he's looking more and more like his father every day, though (and could he have a worse haircut, come on!). Somehow Harry ended up with Diana's looks.
Harry is totally cuter (although it was the opposite when they were younger). But anyway, yay, I love Royalty stuff. I'm already looking forward to the Tom and Lorenzo breakdown of the guests' outfits.
Totally highlights how his forehead kept growing after the rest of his head stopped. Perhaps that's what happens when you're in line for the throne, the top of your head keeps growing to accommodate the crown?
Huh. I think Prince William is the much better looking of the two. But yes, he is going to go bald earlier. He's already showing hair loss and he's only 28.
I saw someone (NYT?) positing that we might be "over" royal weddings. Cha, I think not. This will be enormous. Especially the fairy-tale aspect of her being middle class etc.
This warms the cockles of my heart, no kidding. Re looks, I'm impressed with hers, and her mom's. She's likely to be beautiful all her life. It is also rather sweet that these two have dated so long. They certainly know each other, a big contrast to the Diana and Charles match.
I was so stoked to hear they were finally engaged! Will I be staying up late/getting up early to watch the wedding? Oh yes, yes I will. And this time I don't have to ask my mum for permission.
I am such an Anglophile. I've told the mister that's the only reason I married him; so I could eventually become a subject of the British Monarchy.
Oof, William has not aged well. I agree that Harry got his mother's looks. Kate is gorgeous, though, and I think she and William make a very handsome couple. I'm so excited for their wedding. (I'm an Anglophile too, deborah.)
