How Baidu Won China: Robin Li beat Google and made his search engine No. 1 in China. Now he wants to go global, but it will take some work to get the world to trust Baidu
Yeah I think that is going to be one huge slow battle - maybe not even one worth fighting.
I found out about Baidu years ago when I noticed a huge amount of traffic downloading our bands mp3s - like seriously thousands of downloads a month just from China. It's was such a surprise - but really a tiny drop in the bucket for their enormous market.
