Christmas Music is Here! One of my local radio stations has started their 24/7 holiday music schedule. You're all invited to the Christmas party currently going on in my cubicle. Click the link to listen online and join me!
Don't mind if I do! I seem to have a desire to start the holiday early this year. Things are much less stressful for me right now than they've been during the holidaytimes of the past few years, which makes me want to celebrate.
I'm always looking for more/different Christmas music. I really like stuff that's sort of not as well known, either from folk/ethnic traditions or original compositions - as well as the biggies.
Some other places: I love Rat Patrol Radio at Christmas (even if I get locked out of it half the time). It's basically big band Christmas music and rebroadcast radio bits from the 1940s.
Feels Like Christmas has free mp3s of music licensed by the artists. There's some serious chaff but some gems in there too.
And let's not forget the Holiday Music and Christmas music tags on MeFi music. There is some amazingly good stuff on there!
Thanks for the links! I've always been less than ambitious when it comes to my Christmas music - sticking only to the 'classics'. Maybe this is the year for me to broaden my playlist.
