I thought the good news would be: "Yeah, my stock portfolio is up 25% on the year" or "See that nurse over there with the red hair? We get it on twice a day".

OMG, shingles are a scourge. Not a punchline, but when I read shingles, I thought of roofing. Took me a while to parse your posting.
