A favorite book review (of a very bad book). I read this hilarious book review back in 1988, and I've always remembered it. A Vuitton ad (with Bono!) made me think of it, and thanks to the Internet, here it is for you.
That is especially hilarious as I've been volunteered to host a Scruples read-along on my blog over the holidays (I've never read any Krantz, but that review kind of makes me want to!).

Hee. That's great.

Thanks for that!

Thanks, fun stuff!

It reminds me of this more recent review: ‘The Happening’: This film is so bad that I feel compelled to make a spoiler-laden list of its most laughably terrible parts rather than review it.
